Planning and Packing
Brush Buddies Shopkins Travel Kit
Super-Cute. Super Clean. My kids actually get excited about using the “travel tooth” and don’t throw a fit when it’s time to brush!
Not even a little bit exciting, but for a kiddo that deals with motion sickness – this would be the best.gift.ever.
Packing is DONE! This bag has it all with lots of pockets and storage for pretty much all occasions. You can use it in the car or on a plane.
Plus, I love that it keeps the iPad just a little out of reach. My little ones love to press that ONE button over and over and over…
For the Ride
Magnets are perfect ways to pass the time. Save it for the little-bit-bigger kids because of all the pieces… but you can spend a lot of time making cool stories up with these magnetic books!
Perfect for your budding artist with an easy to transport travel case!
Now if only I could get my little ones to not lose the marker caps…
These. Are. The. BEST!!!!
My girls have pink ones and love them. They are super comfortable and super adorable.
Perfect for napping on the go, and definitely cuter than your average travel pillow.
For the Destination
Portable Cot
Super not exciting. SUPER necessary.
My girls sleep on cots like these at school, and so using a cot like this when we travel is comfortable and familiar to them. Makes on-the-road bedtime worlds easier!
Sippy Cup and Straw Bottle
I love these because it is two-in-one. We like to travel with our own cups, again with the familiarity, and these are durable and easy to toss in the bag.
Books
The Travel Book: A journey through every country in the world (Lonely Planet Kids)
This book is FULL of maps, photos and infographics to teach your little ones about the world. Perfect to thumb through on an airplane!
There are lots of different guides for different locations; France & Paris, Italy & Rome, Germany, Spain… perfect for more location-specific information!
Kids’ Travel Journal
Have your kids get into the habit of helping plan your trips! Use this journal to start to plan, make a packing list, write what happened during your trip, sketch, rate each day… a really fun and interactive way to remember your trip!
Bundles
This one is good for ages 6-12 – full of crafts, games, and activities to keep your little one entertained!
Ages 3 and up – fifteen items packed in a nylon drawstring backpack! This pack has one of the “water wow” coloring books which is one of my FAVORITE things to let my kids play with. And I’ve been known to play with it too…
A pack for some older kids, Moana activity set, peg game, pipe cleaners, mad libs, cards… etc! Plus, you can feel good about ordering this one because with every pack you buy Growing Hero will give back to those in need through I Pour Life – an organization giving a hand UP to people in need.

What a great post. I usually do the mini color wonder sets and tape. Things that will not make too much of a mess.
