Every now and then the internet gets all excited and crazy over things- and I don’t agree with them. The drama and hate surrounding the Aladdin teaser trailer and EW cover images are a perfect example. I kept saying, “wait… wait… let’s just see what Disney does with this…” And y’all… a whole new Aladdin trailer dropped this morning, and I’m over here saying I KNEW IT! In Will I Trust!

Jasmine and Aladdin in the marketplace

Aladdin (Mena Massoud) and Jasmine (Naomi Scott) flee from palace guards on the streets of Agrabahin ALADDIN, a live-action adaptation of Disney?s animated classic.

And I am here for this movie!

Okay, I’ve been here all along. I just had a gut feeling that one of my favorite Disney stories plus one of my favorite actors (Will Smith) couldn’t let me down.

And this trailer? Y’all- I’m flying all over the place in my Magic Carpet right now!

 I mean… it’s GORGEOUS.

And Will is going to be hilarious in this role. No, I know, he’s no Robin Williams. But I hope we get to see Will Smith shine because he’s a super talented actor and comedian- and I know he’s going to make this Genie special!

I’m also in love with this new Aladdin movie poster.

Look at the way Will is looking out at us- like, I feel he’s giving a little sassy “I told you so” look too.

I never doubted you, Will!
