Monday Memes | Back To School Memes

Sharing is caring!

This post featuring back to school memes for teachers. You are my heroes: the teachers, the administrators, the school bus drivers and the lunch ladies. Bless. Monday memes just for you!

Dear teachers & public school workers,

Without you, I’d be a big puddle of weepy mommy guts every day.

I salute you and hope your year is as wonderful as your “summers off” – I promise.

I’m in FULL agreement with Dena here in the video. Because she’s basically every mom who knows just how amazing back to school time can be.

For the parents, of course.

Small confession from this mom: back to school is kicking my booty this year.

While I’m celebrating with a mimosa in one hand, I’m eating half a pie with the other in an effort to drown my sorrows. School starts in 2 weeks and I’m on the struggle bus of mom emotions over here.

What’s bringing me down?

Three kiddos in the “big school.” Two of which are taller than me now and my daughter wears my shoes and some of my less mom-ish clothes.

Child taller than mom

Middle school and high school is hard, and I’m equal parts excited and terrified for me.

I mean, them.

For them. Ahem.

And super sad that I’ll be losing them to the world in just a few short years. Sob!

But that’s a post for another day. Mommin’ ain’t easy, my friends.

I’ve only got one kiddo left in the blissdom of elementary school, but thankfully we’ve got a few years to hang out there. Who knew having that bonus kid was God’s way of getting me through this time? Well, besides God, obviously.

For now: let’s celebrate back to school for those starting this week with some laughs.

Monday Memes: Back to School Memes

I hope you don’t get any of this… but let’s be honest. You will.

I laughed way too hard at these back to school memes, but that’s because I’m the mom waving goodbye!

And this one.

We already had this discussion in my household (the tween thinks this is totally acceptable).

How many times do you get called Mom or Mommy or Mama a day?

And not by your own spawn?

And does it drive you crazy or do you lean in and embrace it, teachers?

Perfect response for the dumbest question ever.

You’re welcome.

Does this really happen?

Please tell me this does NOT really happen.

Because… I can’t.

There will be tough times.

Like when this happens and you just have to walk away.

And we know we aren’t fooling you when you see this look.

Kids. “Homework.”

HOME. WORK.

Not “30 seconds before the bell rings work.”

This one, however, is probably just like the runners who hear:

You’re almost there!

At mile 2 of the marathon. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE.

Hang in there, school employee friends.

You are what rocks my world August through June.

I hope your day doesn’t end like this, but if it does…

Grab yourself a beverage, kick back, and relax. You’ve earned it!

And, hey, only 179 days left!

I hope these back to school memes put a smile on your face! Are you celebrating back to school today? Hug a teacher!

Some schools started last week and I'm hearing kids are already over kindergarten and say it's too long. Bless their hearts, wait till recess is no longer offered.

Can I tell my students we just waited for them to get back? Will I get fired for being sarcastic with them? Because I feel like I'll want to every time that happens. I also still have at least 2 years until I have my own classroom...shhhh.
