BibCOASTERS from Gone For a Run | Review

Sharing is caring!

Disclosure:? I’m a Gone For a Run Ambassador.? As such, I receive product for review purposes from time to time.? This is such a time.? All opinions are my own.

When you think of runner swag, you probably envision medals first.? Then the t-shirts.? Maybe you consider a race bib as part of the deal?

I sure do.? It doesn’t hurt that 90% of my race bibs are from runDisney races, which means they are adorable and worth keeping-? if you can look past the sweat and wrinkles!

What do you do with your race bibs?? Are you a saver or a tosser?

I’m a saver.

I keep them mostly for historical documentation.

Like- right before corrals and numbers are released and everyone is doing the big guessing game.? I head to the bib stash and check a bib for my number and letter.

BAM!? Instant gratification.

I’ve seen the Pinterest options of bib display and love all the crafty folks out there.? That’s just not the way I roll.

I don’t have an “I love me” wall.? That’s what I call the office walls that are decorated with runners achievements.? And if you do have such a space, that’s GREAT.? Maybe someday I’ll feel confident enough to also display my bad-assness up there for the world to see.

For now, I’ll keep it low key and just blog about it.?? Ummm…. yeah…..

Irony, much?? I’ll tell all 3,100,000,000 internet users that I run the races, but seem to shy away from it at home.

What does this have to do with Gone For a Run’s bibCOASTERS?

Everything!

I now have a very casual and low key way to slide in the fact that I run when someone new is over.

Me to a guest:? “It’s hot outside, can I get you a drink?? Here you go… don’t forget a coaster for the table!”

Guest: “Oh my, Patty, what a cute coaster!? Is this a race bib?? Are you a runner?? THAT’S SO AWESOME!? YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!!” (There will be THAT many exclamation points, y’all!).

BAM!? Instant gratification.

I’m sure it will go EXACTLY like that.

How can you wow your friends and family about your own achievements in a casual way?? Go to GoneForARun.com and order your own race bib coaster set.

I got the Stone Coaster: set of 4.? So I can wow 4 guests at once! 😉

Here’s the details:

  • Stone coaster measures 4″ x 4″
  • Cork-backed to protect furniture
  • Due to the natural properties of the stone there may be some cosmetic flaws (you can see this in my images- I think it adds extra dimension to the art!)
  • Stone tile is a natural product. Variations in color, texture and natural markings may occur due to the nature of the product. Due to this, print colors may vary from tile to tile.
  • To clean wipe with damp cloth
  • Packaged in clear gift bag with ribbon

It’s a simple process.

Pick a bib, scan it in (or old school snail mail a copy), attach to an email and pay for your purchase.? The production process is quick: 3-day turn around time, then standard shipping applies.

The hard part was choosing which bib to use.

My very scientific way of choosing: I went with the ones that seemed to have the least amount of damage.

Yes, even from the windiest race EVER, my Avengers bib seemed to look the best out of all of them.

I keep my coasters close by in the office as a daily reminder that, why, yes, I AM a superhero!

I have the coaster to prove it.

How do you display your race bibs?? Have you ever turned yours into something practical you can use?

  1. This is a really neat idea. I wondered if they used the actual bib. I am glad to hear they do not and you still keep it. I hang mine on a wire in my bedroom. So it’s not something everyone sees that comes over to my house. Just me and my hubs.

    1. That’s where my medals are Bonnie. I need to add my bibs I think. The Stash is getting complicated to sort through!
