Characters You May Run Into: the Disneyland 10K
Continuing with the series, I’m covering the Disneyland 10K today.
If you are running the Dumbo Double Dare, this is the first race you will encounter over the weekend.? The other race, the Disneyland Half Marathon, can be found here.
Here’s my re-cap if you want to know how much we loved it!
Important note:? the characters were themed to coincide with the Alice in Wonderland medal of the inaugural race.? I cannot imagine we will see the same mile markers for this year’s race, and I also suspect a lot fewer Alice in Wonderland characters will be out.
Since the medal is Stitch this year, I bet we see some Lilo and Stitch love!? Be prepared for a long line if that’s the case.
Based on your speed and your corral placement, you may or may not have had the same experiences.
Who you may see:
Red
Mater & Lightening Mc Queen
Woody & Jessie
Monsters Inc: Mike & Sulley and cheerleaders

Main Street Vehicles
Disneyland Rail Road
Backstage: Halloween and Christmas parade floats
Daisy & Clarice

Alice & the Mad Hatter
White Rabbit

Queen of Hearts & Playing Cards

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

Chip & Dale

You got some great photos last year!
I love how the 10k is almost completely in the parks so there are so many characters! Can’t wait to do this race again!
Greetings Fellow Blog Hopper!
I’m only doing the half but interested in the different characters. Nothing more exciting to see the characters on the course.
Awesome! Looking forward to all the photo ops during the 10K! Were the lines really long?
This post made me wish I was going back! So much fun 😀
Know wonder I have such magical memories of this race! The Disneyland 10K has some quality park time, which definitely translated into primo character exposure. I can’t wait to see your photos of the Lilo and Stitch ‘Ohana this year. Thanks for all Patty!
They definitely have a lot of great characters out during the runs! I don’t usually get to take a photo with them because of the lines but I still love seeing them out and about! 🙂
