This confession will be short and sweet: I’m a fan. Big time.
Since learning of the benefits of compression a few years back I went all in.
Starting with my calf sleeves.
If I’m going more than 4 miles I’m putting these babies on. I’m also wearing them around for most of the day afterward.
It’s a sexy look, but it works.
No tight calves or aching the next morning for me!
I’ve tried quite a few brands and Zensah works the best for my large calves. They fit well and do their job. Solid quality too.
And of course… they come in lots of colors for costume purposes!
You can even decorate them!
I also wear my CW-X compression shorts if I’m going for a long run (over 8 miles). They support my weirdo IT Band and keep my legs from getting tight.
I do not wear them after a run for recovery though. Generally they do the job for me on the run.
One time I couldn’t find them and panicked. It was during our move and I had the Princess Half just around the corner.
I ordered another pair (see above) then scrambled through boxes in storage until I found them.
Now that was a happy day! Sparkle Skirts and compression shorts found: huzzah!
What about you? Do you have a love for compression gear like me?
