Course Change for 2016 Tinker Bell Half?
It looks like all races at Disneyland will end in the same place: the parking lot behind the Disneyland Hotel.
The newly certified course can be found on the USATF website.
What do you think if these changes, Tinkers?
The Tinker Bell half marathon runs over Mother’s Day weekend this year. If you still need a bib, shoot my friend Sarah an email! Sarah@gomagicalmiles.com

Is it just me or did they cut down on the park time?
It’s cut down. Boo!
Finally! In one month I’ll be in Disneyland. I knew the courses would have to be ready at some point before the races. Looks like lots of park time for the 10k.
It does! Very similar to SW 10K except it looks like you have the hills. Ha. 😉
Thanks Patty! I like them, i knew changes would happen b/c of SW construction just glad it didn’t change too much. Hope you don’t mind I posted the link to your blog on the Dis.
Thanks Kim! I know you will have a great race, no matter what happens to that course!
Honestly…I can’t make heads or tails of that map.
I was in the park today and you can’t get through that passageway from Fantasyland to Frontierland that goes past the BBQ place behind Thunder Mountain. I even posted a photo of the closed gate on IG and said I wondered how it will play out on the course for Tink. Then I came home and saw people losing their minds on social media. Change happens. Tink was my favorite course, but after four times, it’ll be interesting to see a change for the 5th. I’m sure as soon as construction is finished the routes will change again to go through the new features of the park.
I think you are right. It should be a temporary detour because of construction. I can’t tell much from that map either but those that obsessed and up with a mile less park and very little dtd (at end of race). Change happens. It will still be a fun event!
