D23 Updates for the Marvel Fan!

I’ll be the first to admit I am totally green when it comes to Marvel. My husband and I are working our way through all the movies, and I am learning as much as I can (as fast as I can) to prepare for Infinity War. Needless to say, I even surprised myself with how excited I was over the Super Hero Announcements from D23 Japan! Here’s what’s coming as announced by D23: Updates for the Marvel Fan— and why we are geeking a bit over it all.

D23 Updates for the Marvel Fan

Marvel fans: are you ready for this? Disney is taking their $4 billion dollar investment seriously by adding attractions to theme parks all over the world.

Yes, including Walt Disney World!

And can we say- it’s about time? But the real Marvel action is happening overseas. Here’s what you need to know if you are making a trip (or need to plan one!) just to get your geek on.

All the Disney Parks Marvel news you need before planning your next trip. Want to spend the Summer of Heroes in Paris? Ride a new Rock N Roll Roller coaster featuring Iron Man? It's happening in Disney World and Disneyland parks all over the world! #Disney #Disneytravel #Disneyland #DisneyWorld #marvel #MCU #IronMan #GuardiansoftheGalaxy #Antman

Marvel Super Heros are Coming to Disneyland Paris

SO many exciting things are happening over in Paris.

Now I have like 492 more reasons I need to get my butt over there.

Iron Man Roller Coaster – Disneyland Paris

I really, really, REALLY love Rock ‘n’ RollerCoaster.

And honestly, when I first read this, I missed the “Paris” part of the equation and freaked out for a millisecond.

But it is all good in the hood, as the Rock ‘n’ RollerCoaster that is going to be reimagined is in Paris!

It is going to become a high-speed Iron Man adventure with the Avengers.

The Art of Marvel Hotel – Disneyland Paris

Say goodbye to Disney’s Hotel New York and hello to The Art of Marvel, opening in 2020!

According to Bob Iger, “We’re going to create a hotel at Disneyland Paris that would make Tony Stark proud”!

This hotel will transport guests into the action-packed world of our favorite Super Heroes, and will not disappoint.

Marvel Summer of Super Heroes – Disneyland Paris

Last but not least in good ol’ Paris – the Summer of Super Heroes!

This June, you can celebrate Disneyland Paris’ 25th Anniversary with new shows, dance parties, character encounters, firework displays, and more!

If it’s anything like the Summer of Super Heroes at Disneyland (CA)- it’s going to be ah-mazing!

Super Heroes at Hong Kong Disneyland

Don’t forget about Hong Kong! January 2017 they opened the Iron Man Experience, and it has become the most popular attraction at the park.

So popular, that now an entire Marvel-themed area is in the works!

But that’s not all – at the D23 Expo in Japan, they have announced that a second Marvel attraction is planned for Hong Kong Disneyland.

This time, you’ll be teaming up with Ant-Man and the Wasp to fight Arnim Zola!

Guardians of the Galaxy at EPCOT

THIS IS THE BIG ONE.

I AM SO STINKING EXCITED I CAN’T EVEN.

We all were waiting for Ellen’s Energy Adventure to shut down and for work to begin on what everyone expected to be a new big fancy roller coaster.

The time is here! Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to EPCOT!

It will also be one of the longest enclosed rollercoasters in the World.

Like, the WORLD. Not just Disney World. The WHOLE WORLD.

The ride is expected to open in 2021 in celebration of Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

I’ll be there.

THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW.
