Apologies to my state of Virginia, but Disney really is for lovers!

I know, I know, Disney is for kids, you might say, but trust me: the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line caters to romantic dates with your partner as well.

Disney is for couples, I swear!

There are so many options to celebrate and connect with your favorite Disney-loving partner that you just might need some help figuring out where to start.

Here’s my list of the best romantic spots for your next Disney Date Night!

Disney is For Lovers | Best Romantic Spots At Disney For Couples

As much as I love watching the Disney Parks unfold through my kids’ eyes, I love seeing my husband light up with joy when he catches something Disney special happening as well.

While he’s not quite on my level of Disney obsession, his Disney roots run deep, y’all.

Disney World 1995
Our delayed honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World in the spring of 1995. My first time- his 3rd.

In fact, it’s one of the reasons I was attracted to him in the first place! A little Shenanigans family backstory from our early dates.

I walked into his apartment and noticed two things: it was spotless and that he had a collection of Disney VHS tapes.

While the spotless thing was a bit much for us to maintain with 4 kids, the love of Disney still runs strong through our family!

And we try to take some time out of each trip- or plan a trip without the kids- just to enjoy Disney as adults. It’s good for us- and I’ll bet if you are reading this, it would be good for you too.

Are you down to learn about the most romantic Disney spots the parks and cruise line has to offer? Read on.

One Problem: We Brought the Kids to Disney

So you’re going to Disney. And you and the spouse need some much-needed one-on-one time.

But you, being awesome parents, also brought the kiddos with you.

How do you pull this off?

Disney’s got you, boo!

Kid Club Options at Disney World and Disney Cruise Line

Did you know that Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line offer kids clubs for just such an occasion? See- even Disney wants you to have that romantic time together!

At Disney World, your kiddos can visit Camp Dolphin at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

On the Disney Cruise Line, you have options based on the kids’ ages.

There’s the “it’s a small world” nursery (reservations required) for guests under the age of 3; The Oceaneers Club and The Oceaneers Lab are perfect for kids ranging from 3 to 12, and for the older kids Vibe (14-17) and the Edge (11-14).

Romantic Spots at Disney World Resort

When it comes to romance, nothing speaks my love language like walking around Epcot’s World Showcase and sampling snacks and drinks around the World.

Drinking around the World at Epcot in Disney world

The hubs is down with that plan as well.

We like to stroll and drink and eat and just enjoy the time together.

But maybe you want something a little quiet and intimate at Disney World? Here are a few more options.

Victoria & Albert’s

The most romantic Disney spot I’ve been at Disney World is Victoria & Albert’s in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

If you want upscale excellence and sheer romance, this is the advanced dining reservation you need to secure.

Everything about this location screams romance!

Unfortunately, it still hasn’t re-opened since the resort closures of 2020. But we’d say its worth keeping an eye on just in case it comes back soon!

Narcoossee’s

Since we’re already at the Grand Floridian, we might as well talk about some additional amazing romantic spots at Disney in the same resort.

We celebrated my husband’s master’s degree at Narcoossee’s and it was the perfect Disney Date Night for us.

Since we were staying at the resort, it was an easy walk down to the restaurant where we enjoyed the Surf & Turf, great wine, a perfect fireworks view, and a quick boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom for some Extra Magic Hours that evening.

Practically perfect in every way!

My friend Tina at Footprints in Pixie Dust agrees. Check out her Narcoossee’s review!

Narcoossee’s created the perfect scenario for a romantic celebratory dinner by the water, capped off by a spectacular display of fireworks above Cinderella Castle. The ambiance was quiet, the food was amazing and the service was truly magical. Of course, nothing could compare to the ‘feel’ of “‘Happily Ever After’ from the venue’s waterfront verandah. – Tina Brown

California Grill

Scoring a coveted advance dining reservation during fireworks just might be the best way to find your Happily Ever After.

You cannot beat the view of the Magic Kingdom from the outside balcony, and the food is divine!

Wine Bar George at Disney Springs

I haven’t been here yet, but my friend Kimberly raves about Wine Bar George at Disney Springs

The food sounds wonderful and I can always learn more about wine!

Romantic Spots at the Disneyland Resort

Can I cheat a little here and just say that the whole resort is romantic to me?

I always feel a little nostalgia and throwback to simpler times when I walk in the gates of Disneyland- which I am pretty sure is exactly what Walt wanted.

Sleeping Beauty Castle Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels

It helps that so many local Disneylanders love to Disneybound on a regular basis, which just adds to the feeling for me.

But in order to narrow things down, I’ll give you a few of my favorite places!

Blue Bayou

This legendary restaurant is located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The ambiance is incredible and transports you right to New Orleans- which is just one of the most romantic places I’ve ever visited!

Club 33

This one is not as easy to get to, but it had to be included!

It’s simply one of the most special places that Disney offers, but you do have to know a member to get an invite to eat here.

If you do get a chance to visit, make sure you head out to the balcony!

Napa Rose

This is one of the most delightful places for a Disney Date Night and bonus: you don’t need a park ticket to enjoy a meal here!

Napa Rose is located in the Grand Californian Resort and Spa and is hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

The food and service were top-notch and I always tell people this is a don’t miss!

Romantic Spots on the Disney Cruise Line

When you talk romance, you can’t miss mentioning the high seas!

Just being on the ships out in the middle of the ocean makes you want to snuggle up with the one you love. And don’t forget those kids’ clubs make it easy!

Sunset out the porthole of the Disney Dream

Disney Cruise Line knows parents are looking to reconnect on board.

Not only are there adult-only areas on the ship, but there is also adult-only dining options as well.

Palo

Palo is a favorite of cruisers.

If you cruise with Disney, make sure you book a meal here. The chocolate cake is to die for, y’all!

You will not regret it- and check out Lolalambchops Palo brunch review

Caitlin from Real Mom Recs also raved about her experience. She had an incredible meal with her husband and shares her details

My husband and I booked a dinner at the adults-only restaurant Palo on our Disney Cruise and it was 100% the highlight of our cruise. Our reservation was on the earlier side, 6:00, and the place was nearly empty. We were seated along the clear glass wall so we could enjoy the view of ocean with the Bahamas in the distance. Our server was assigned to only us and she was fantastic at describing each of the menu items and drinks including where the ingredients came from. The food was some of the best we’ve had anywhere! Overall, our experience at Palo was intimate and luxurious- I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a romantic dinner. – Caitlin, Real Mom Recs Disney Cruise Line Tips

Senses Spa and Salon

There is nothing as romantic as taking a spa date with your partner on the Disney Cruise Line. And Disney has a lot of options to utilize at Senses Spa and Salon on the ships.

Oh wait- there is! A couples massage on Castaway Cay tops my list of romantic Disney spots.

Do this and you will fall in love all over again!

Pink Champagne Bar on The Disney Dream

This little spot is one of my favorites on the Disney Dream.

Located in the area called The District, Pink is an adults-only location is filled top to bottom with – what else- pink champagne!

You kinda feel like you’re inside a champagne bottle; it’s adorable!

There are tons of more romantic Disney spots to talk about- so I want to hear yours.
