2018 Disney World Annual Pass Increase
You know I love my Disney.
And I know you do too.
Unfortunately, that means we are subject to these annual (bi-annual?) price increases every year.
And today is that day.
Recently Disney World gave us the heads up that a new Date Based Pricing would go into effect at Walt Disney World theme parks.
This morning, the new pricing structure is in full effect.
In some cases, tickets did increase (about $20-50 was what I saw when I played with dates). And in a few cases, ticket prices actually went down. Shocker, I know!
But the unannounced news tagged along with the daily ticket pricing: Disney World Annual Passes also went up in price.
#NoGuiltTravel Tuesday Chat
Sarah and I chat about the new numbers – here’s why we think this isn’t all bad news.
Disney World Annual Platinum Pass Price
This is the annual pass that most of us probably posses.
We get the merchandise and dining discounts, free parking, and free memory maker added in. Nothing has changed in these benefits.
Prices increased on the Disney World Annual Platinum Pass from $849 to $894, an increase of $45.
Disney World Annual Platinum Plus Pass Price
This one I see used mostly by my Disney World local friends.
In addition to the other pass perks, they receive entry to the ESPN Wide World of Sports, both water parks, and a golf course for the year.
The pricing for the Disney World Annual Platinum Plus Pass has gone from $949 to $994 — an increase of $45.
Disney World Theme Park Parking Prices
Parking at Disney World has also gone up!
Check out this post for all the Disney World parking details at locations all over the property, but the theme parks are the only ones affected today with a price hike.
- Cars $25 (up from $22)
- Oversized vehicles $30 (up from $27)
- Preferred parking locations $50 (up from $45)
