They raise the prices every year anyway. It doesn’t matter what the explanation is. I’m still debating over whether to renew my pass. It’s a type that has been discontinued, but they’ve grandfathered in people who already hold it to renew. It’s gone up about $100 over the last three years. I’ve definitely cut down on the races due to the cost, so maybe that money turns into pass money?
I’m cutting back on races and my passes. But I’m not localish like you, so it makes much more financial sense for me to cut back. I agree that prices will just continue to keep going up. Regardless of the reason.
This does’t change our plans as we never buy a one day ticket. Though I admit the latest AP price increase, along with the fact that 2017 we’re planning a Hawaii trip, are the main reasons we wont be renewing our passes after they expire and Star Wars will be my only RD race in 2017.
