This sounds like great news for the Disneyland travelers who are looking for onsite resorts.
Rooms are often booked months in advance and a new hotel would certainly be profitable for the Disney brand.

I don't see how they need it. Disney has been "concerned" about overcrowding in the parks and how it effects the guest experience, yet they're bringing in another hotel?

I think they are planning ahead for the additional Influx SW land will bring. Plus: money in them there resorts!
