I love stuff. Like, I LOVE STUFF.

This is me, but throw like 87 million more medals on that wall, and put all the race bibs in a box on the floor, and take away all those first place ribbons because naaah…

But yes, this is me.

Right now I have a few things I’m LOVING so wanted to share that love with you today!

Science in Sport 60 ml Energy Gel

Science in Sport 60 ml Energy Gel

I got an email from Rock n Roll Dallas offering a free sample box of these energy gels.  I’m a sucker for free stuff, so I paid the $5 to see what this stuff was all about.

You guys know I’m not too picky when it comes to race fuel, so I was totally game.

I did have one bad, bad, bad, BAD experience with some random energy gel I picked up the night before a half marathon. It was an “oh s&%$ I am so unprepared…” moment where I grabbed whatever I could find at the grocery store. Bad.

Anyways, I brought one of these along with me for the 5K. Not like I need energy for a 5K, but just because if it ended badly… it’s only 3.1 miles.

GUYS. I loved this stuff.

The flavor is good, and not intense.

It’s not thick like Gu… it’s more water-like. So, it goes down easy.

The next day during the half marathon there were two stations where they handed them out and I hoarded. I LOVE this stuff.

Brooks Women’s Ghost 10 Neutral Cushioned Running Shoe

Brooks Womens Ghost

I love my shoes. LOVE.

I’ve got the black/pink right now but I’m coveting the rose gold ones. Because OMG rose gold.

But for real, let’s call it what it is… Millennial Pink.

They’ll match my new Millennial Pink Ears you know I had to get my hands on immediately.

I recently took an online “what kinda shoe do you need” quiz (here) and it told me I need the Adrenaline versus the Ghost.  I love my ghost shoes so much I don’t know how much I believe the internet.

… but I’ll probably give them a try!

… not as cute.

Gymboss Interval Timer and Stopwatch

Gymboss Interval Timer

I bought this right before my first marathon. I needed an interval timer I could change mid-run. I don’t have this exact one – I have Galloways – but it’s the same thing.

And for real, I kinda want that purple/pink combo.

The past year I have been focusing on heart rate training but have found myself gravitating back towards intervals.

I think part of that is because I’m in better shape and can run for longer periods of time. I pulled out the 4/1 intervals at the end of the Rock n Roll Dallas Half Marathon and totally impressed myself with how well I kept up.

Also, because I am having heart issues again so different meds are making it very hard to do heart rate training reliably.

BOTTOM LINE – Garmin intervals suck because you can’t adjust mid-run. This little baby is the bomb.com.

Phaiser BHS-750 Bluetooth Headphones

Phaiser BHS-750 Bluetooth Headphones

These are my new babies. I got a pair given to me by my aunt who didn’t love them.

It has been SO long since I have worn Bluetooth headphones!! I had an older pair that I liked but ended up kicking the bucket last October (in the middle of a race, naturally.)

These are easy, lightweight, and I can change songs and volume and all that jazz right there on the cord.

And for me, with music ADD, that’s essential.

I do still need to play around with all the different “ear fit” options to find the most comfortable combo, but even when it’s not the most comfortable, it’s still comfortable. I also love how small they are so I can toss them in my skirt pocket when I decide to be social on a run instead.

Skirt Sports Girl’s Wonder Tank Top

Wonder Girl Tank Top

I am loving this top right now, too.

It’s one of the first tops with a built-in bra that I can actually run in. Now, I also have pretty much no boob left after losing 50 lbs… so take what I say with a grain of salt… but I love it!

I have the amethyst one (which matches several of my skirts beautifully, by the way)!

The black is in my cart.

The romance print is on my wishlist!

Here’s a selfie from today where I’m wearing the top!
