Hot on the heels of the latest Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer and poster is this footage from the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction.

The Millennium Falcon ride is taking shape and the folks at WDW News Today got a screening at the GPU Technology Conference 2018.

Looks like we’ll be taking flight ala the Banshees of Pandora to me! Except in a cockpit rather than astride an animal.

If this is anything like Flights of Passage, then we are going to be yelling YAHOOOOO! like Han a whole heck of a lot.

I know a few fans who can’t wait to climb on board the Falcon and put it through her paces.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Details

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to arrive in Disneyland in the summer of 2019 and at Disney World later in 2019.

It’s set on a new planet, Batuu, and will fully immerse the guest into the world of Star War.

 

STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE -- Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek shared new details and a glimpse inside the two attractions planed for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge coming to both Disneyland park in Anaheim, Calif. and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla. in 2019.

There will be a cantina- and, oh yes, it will serve up blue milk!

Merchandise has already hit the parks (because, of course, it has!) and you can also see a scaled model of the new land at Hollywood Studios in Florida.

Now to practice our “Punch it, Chewie!” impressions and wait impatiently for 2019 so we can ride the Millenium Falcon through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
