Just Dance 2015 Review
Around here we try to stay active in both mind and body.
When we aren’t playing a sport, we are playing games of another sort: video games.
I resisted them, I’ll admit.? I was not a fan of my kids sitting in front of the TV all day logging hours of “screen time.? I know that there can be some benefits to playing video games so I learned to mellow out a bit about them.
But then games evolved and became more interactive.? When movement became an option, I jumped all over that technology!
One of the first games we bought with the Kinect Sensor was Ubisoft’s Just Dance.? And, yes, we have upgraded every year to get new songs and new dance moves in rotation.
A bonus: Ubisoft cares about kids.? Mine are in this prime age range where bullying is a problem.? To bring awareness to National Bullying Prevention Month, Just Dance 2015 and Stomp Out Bullying partnered to show kids (and well, everyone!) that ?it?s okay to dance to your own beat!?? That’s my jam!
Just Dance 2015 (available on Amazon!) arrived a couple of weeks ago and the kids tore into the package.? They couldn’t wait to get started.
First up: the track list.? Oh, it’s GOOD, y’all!
Some of our favorites include Happy and Let it Go from Frozen.? (Yes, it is INDEED everywhere!)
My kids decided to test drive an oldie but a goodie: Don’t Worry, Be Happy.
This version also includes the lyrics, so you know, I had to sing along.
My kids LOVE it when I do that.? /sarcasm
Don’t worry, I didn’t record it for you.? This time.
My kids are 7, 9 and 11.? Finding something we can all do together can be a challenge.? This game supplied the perfect answer for all levels.
Don’t Worry, Be Happy was challenging but didn’t make my 7-year-old think he was out danced by the 11-year-old.
The video looked amazing and the sound was fantastic.
Setting up using a Kinect was a little hard to manage at times, so I suggest using the controller. But it was completely responsive when we were dancing.
I think this is a perfect gift if you are a family that likes to move together.? If you are like me, the holidays are coming on fast.? Gift ideas for your family?? Here you go!
Jammin’ at home in the warmth and solitude of your own living room can be a great option to combat the wintertime blues.
You can buy your Just Dance 2015 at Amazon.

Can’t wait to take this for a spin! Looks like a blast with the fun tunes they picked. Huge just dance fans over here!
There are lots of fun songs! Seth loves Let it Go! lol
Yessssss! We’ve been waiting for a new Just Dance to come out! Definitely on the Christmas List!
Dance like nobody’s watching, Lola!
Ohhhhhhh….. it has the Dead or Alive song on it. I LOVED that song in high school. I’m sure my boys would be thrilled to see Mom dance to it. Certain. 🙂
You know it!
