Even though I didn’t love the way the season started, I’m in it for the long haul.?Live Blogging Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 3: let’s do this!

 

 

So real quick: last week Agents of Shield Season 5 Episodes 1 & 2 were disappointing to me.

I’m not a fan of this storyline so far, but I am a fan of this cast.

Seeing them all together again made me happy. Listening to Mack crush every oneliner had me a little giddy. There were some fist pumps.

Let’s see if episode 3 gets any better!

 

Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 3

*** Okay, so I decided NOT to live blog this one.

I started it; wrote this, was set to go… and then got absorbed into the story and closed the laptop.

Hey, blogger’s choice! I plan to try again next week with Episode 4 because I actually did love the live blog idea while I was doing it. So, yeah, that’s what happened/didn’t happen.

 

 

My thoughts on episode 3:

I still am not loving this season. I liked this episode much more than the 2 before, so I guess that’s moving in the right direction!

But I am digging the May-Coulson moments.

If we get a full-blown Philinda action going on this season, I just might be ok with the fact that they are stuck in outer space?90 years in the future!

And you know there’s got to be some Fitz showing up soon. The transmission and the mention of the delegation (SHIELD) makes me think he’s going to come back to the show soon.

My initial reaction was that this was showing us post Infinity War earth, and man, that’s bleak.

Now I’m thinking— this is *possible* post Infinity War earth. But between SHIELD and the Gauntlet’s powers (guessing Stark gets a hold of it in IF or Avengers 4? No idea) things could absolutely be changed. This doesn’t have to be the outcome, I guess is what I’m saying and hoping for,
