Magic Band Covers & FitBit Band Covers
As a runner I love data.? As a woman trying to lose weight, I NEED data.
I bought a Fitbit Flex last December (Merry Christmas to me!) and somewhere around March I lost it.? Probably in the shuffle of the move hoopla.? I’ve missed it a lot.? Like really, really, REALLY missed it when we were at Walt Disney World a couple of weeks ago.? It almost hurts me to think of the precious numbers and data I lost by not wearing my Fitbit around the parks. ? I’d love to see just how many steps and miles we put in at the parks that helped me lose 2 pounds that week.
When we came back home I made it my mission to find the Fitbit.? Success!? It was located deep in the recesses of my computer bag.? But there was sadness as well… the band was ripped.?? #WhompWhomp? So like anyone with a serious social media addiction habit, I moaned a bit on Facebook about replacing my band.? This lead to noticing that while Fitbit expanded their color options with this Wristband Accessory Pack the bands were still boring and plain.
What’s a girl to do?? Wear a plain band everywhere?
Enter DVC Central and their brilliant idea of filling a “need” in the world.? Okay, so need might be a little strong, but when I looked at the offerings, I definitely NEEDED some of these band covers! The kind folks at DVC Central complied and sent me a couple of bands to review.? I requested 2 Fitbit band covers and received them just a few days later.
What?? Disney flavored band covers?!? Yes please!
DVC Central has many options to choose from when it comes to dressing up your Fitbit band.? Be sure to take a look at the website and pick out one that fits your personality.
The beauty of the bands is in the simplicity:? it’s just a simple sticker (for lack of a better word) that you apply to your band.? They go on easily and smoothly and leave no residue when you remove them.? You can also swap them out for another one when you tire of the first look.? Unfortunately they are not reusable.? Once you pull it off, it will not be able to be re-applied.? I’ve worn mine for over a week in the shower, on runs, and even in the pool and have not had a single complaint.
At $4 a band cover I also think the price is right on target.? This weekend they released a whole new crop of bands, including some representing the SEC and a few other colleges.? Be sure to check them out if you want to represent your school!
But wait- there’s more!
As a bonus I also received 2 Magic Band covers.? DVC Central happens to know I love visiting Disney World (and that you do too!)? I don’t have a trip planned until January but I applied one of the cover bands for review purposes.? Application was again easy to do and I wore the band in the pool last night.? No issues.? These vinyl bands are made to stick through the elements.? This combination might be worthy of a visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in December!
While the chevrons are super cute, please stand by to be blown away.? Yesterday the website added a whole SLEW of band covers.? Each update made me giggle and clap with delight.
Why, yes, I am a 9 year-old girl.? Seriously.
Here’s a few of the options on the website that you can buy to show your #DisneySide.
The bands sell for $6-$8 each, or can be purchased as a group.? If you want a whole set you are looking at $20-$50 depending on the theme you choose.
Do you plan to dress up your Magic Band covers the next time you head to Walt Disney World?? Or how about your Fitbit Flex band?? Which cover is your favorite?

I love love love these!! So many cute designs.
Woohoo! Love it. I’ve been debating on which ones we need for our trip in November!
I love the Tardis since I’m a Dr. Who fan, but I also want the Haunted Mansion wallpaper. I would love to see some more based on the rides.
I like the Edna one!
Um, these are ADORABLE. Super cute. And very well priced.
Warrior Chick Cover Band is cute.
I am a Dapper Dan fangirl. I about jumped out of my pants when I saw them last night!
Love the super hero ones. But they are all awesome.
I sooo want a fitbit flex! I guess if I win I’ll have to get one to use the cover π I’ll probably never get to WDW womp-womp. Should I be your winner feel free to pick a second winner for the magic band cover!
I love these! I’d seen them before awhile ago but I love the new designs! I’m a princess girl so I love the Beauty and the Beast one π
I don’t know that I can pick a fav – they are all adorbs! I would love to get complementing ones for my MB and my FitBit for our October trip π
My Magic bands should be here any day and now I’m thinking I may “need” a few covers π Who can pick only one?
I love, love, love the monorail band covers
I love the Arabian nights one.
OMG! These are amazing! I LOVE these! The monorail one is awesome! Plus the Incredibles AND a Dapper Dan option?!?! Get outta here! It will be so hard to choose!
Oh my gosh! I love the Cheshire Cat!
Love, love, love Cover Bands!! My husband and I have 6 magic bands between us that we rotate thru depending on our mood that day. My favorite is my Minnie Mouse band π My next Cover Band is going to be a monorail and then I want the barbershop quartet!
I just love the idea – less risk of falling off than the little Magic Band jibbits I have currently!
We used our cover bands on our last trip, big, big hit! I’d love to see some more themed on classic rides: tea cups, Dumbo, Toad, etc. Or even better some made to match Disney Dooneys.
I love the chevron. I would love to see a Yoda band for my son.
Just got back from six day WDW trip. Cover Bands were awesome. They did not come off despite the heat, sweat, water in pools and showers, etc.
Got a LOT of positive comments. Surprised by how many Cast Members commented on them. They hadn’t seen a lot of them but loved them. (We had everything from monorail, to R2D2 to Loki and Ariel.)
I can’t wait to try these out!!! They just need a line of villian bands
Tardis!
I love all of the new designs! I was already having trouble picking one for each of us for our trip this fall & now they made it even harder! LOL
We’re doing a WDW / Disney cruise trip, so I’m thinking I may just have to buy a second set for my kids to wear on the cruise armbands (from the kids’ clubs). π
the tardis or a christmas one..so cute
I love the princess ones…’cause my girls and I are totally princesses! π
I love all the new bands, but especially the Sorcerer Mickey, the Dapper Dans, & the red Incredibles one! I’d love to see a Lilo one with the red and white floral Hawaiian print!
Going to Disney on Sept. Would love one!
What a super fun idea! I’m glad you found your Fitbit…I would be lost without that data, too. I logged over 11 miles in disneyland in April!
