Marvel love update: new Black Panther Poster released at Comic-Con!
Guys. GUYS! From the moment we met Black Panther (aka T’Challa) in Captain America: Civil War I was thirsty for more.
This guy just has it all: he’s good looking (just a lil’ bit!), he’s fast and strong, and he’s the king of the small but technology advanced kingdom of Wakanda.
Oh and he wears a super cool black leather super suit which is pretty freaking awesome.
Now, those of us who are not comic book readers don’t know a lot about Wakanda.
But the peeks of it at the end of Civil War and in the Black Panther trailer promises a land of beauty, advanced technology, and mystery.
And I for one can’t wait to visit it in February when Black Panther is released.
Marvel Studios??BLACK PANTHER?follows T?Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.
But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T?Challa?s mettle as king?and Black Panther?is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk.?
Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
When I saw the trailer, my breath was taken away. I had to watch it a few more times (you can find it again here) before I calmed down.
Another trailer was released to the mega-Twitter hype at Comic-Con this past weekend but isn’t available for us in the public eye to see it just yet.
Lesson learned: don’t miss Comic-Con! Gah! I’m dying to see what’s coming next.
I do have some more T’Challa pics to tide us over and that new Black Panther poster as well!
I’m ready to find out what’s happening here, aren’t you?
And this poster has me asking more questions and needing some answers. It’s gorgeous, though!
Swoon-worthy, for sure.
Black Panther opens nationwide February 16, 2018!?
