Once the half marathon was off the table, my motivation for miles slid onto the floor as well.
So I’ll have to give October a D when it comes to running.
I am definitely in a running state of mind that anything over 4 miles is just stupid. No offense to those of you who just killed the MCM yesterday.
I wish I could get back to at least tolerating long mileage, but honestly, right now it’s all I can do to get 2-4 miles at a pop in.
I’ve been on the trail a few times and to the gym for the treadmill, but I haven’t been super consistent due to travels (story of my life!).
I pack my running stuff for every trip, it just doesn’t always get pulled out. Le Sigh.
Absolutely no excuse for it.
The good news is that I don’t need to do much more than 4-5 miles for the 10Ks I have scheduled, so for once my training motivation lines up with my race schedule.
I am looking forward to the November trip to Disneyland where the last runDisney events on the west coast will happen in November.
Gimme those Super Heroes!
The Super Heroes race weekend is for sure my favorite, and it will be sorely missed.
Such great support on the courses, such fun, geekiness happening at every turn!
If you missed it, runDisney finally got around to announcing that the west coast races are going on hiatus for 2018.
Personally, I don’t see them coming back, which means this last race weekend is going to be a special one for me. Disneyland is my favorite place in the world, and it’s my favorite place to run as well.
I plan to embrace this last race weekend and enjoy every step!
