Bringing the Supers back this summer: Disney Pixar presents The Incredibles sequel! The whole Parr family is back in action: Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack when the Incredibles 2 movie hits theaters on June 15. Before that happens, I’m getting a sneak peek! Follow along as we head to the Pixar Animation Studios to learn more about The Incredibles sequel. Here’s what’s about to go down at the Incredibles 2 Event. (Affiliate links)
The email said “Calling all Supers!” and you know I was living for it. That pixie-dusted email invited me to join 24 other “Incredible” bloggers (get used to it- it’s never going to get old ha!) to visit Pixar Animation Studios and get a sneak peek of The Incredibles 2 movie.
The Incredibles 2 Event press trip happens next week (eep!) from April 3 to April 5 and I sure hope you’ll follow along!

Why We Love the Incredibles
They are just such a typical American family, outside of their Super skills, of course.
The discussions at the dinner table and in the car take on an all-too-familiar tone to parents like me. I mean, I so relate to Helen’s stretching every which way to keep her family in line.
Fun fact: channeling Helen Parr has been my #momgoals since I met her as a new mom of 2 young boys in 2004. That was the year my husband spent overseas and I learned how to be Mrs. Incredible at home alone with my boys.
Since then, I’ve come to appreciate?her and her wisdom even more.
[tweetshare tweet=”I KNOW WHAT I SAID! Listen to what I’m saying now! – Helen Parr, Mrs. Incredible #Incredibles #Incredibles2 #Incredibles2Event” username=”noguiltlife”]
I mean, how “mom” is that?
Every day, yo, every. day.
She shines?as a mom, a wife, and as a woman who uses all her superhero talents to save her family and the world in the original movie, The Incredibles.
The sequel is all about Helen and her return to the workforce as Elastigirl in Incredibles 2.
Like I said: so relatable!
The Incredibles 2 Event at Pixar
Sometimes this job lets you do amazing things- like going to Pixar for 2 days for the Incredibles 2 Event.
I’ll share everything I can on social media on Twitter @noguiltlife, Facebook /noguiltlife and Instagram @noguiltlife (I love Instagram stories!) using the hashtag #Incredibles2Event
Please follow along, ask all the questions, and let me know what you want to see!
Tuesday, April 3rd:?Fly from Virginia to San Francisco and attend a reception at Pixar.
We’re starting off with the sneak peek footage from?INCREDIBLES?2!
We will also get a chance to screen Bao, the new short that will be playing before the Incredibles 2. And chatting with the director (ahem- first FEMALE director for a Pixar short!) and producer afterward.
Guys, I will be SOAKING. IT. ALL. IN.
As a kid who lived in the Bay Area when Pixar was beginning to make a name for itself, I feel like I grew up with Pixar too- it’s so cool to watch it become the storytelling powerhouse that it is.
Wednesday, April 4th:?Spend the day at Pixar attending a press day for?INCREDIBLES?2.
There’s tons of great stuff lines up for us and fabulous interviews. Speaking of fabulous…
We will interview Edna Mode!
Okay, so not Edna exactly, but?Director Brad Bird the voice of Edna.
What questions do you have for Brad (or Edna? I’m not afraid to ask her to shine!).
Wonder if I can get him to hold an Edna-off with me?
We also have the honor of interviewing Producers Nicole Grindle?&?John Walker?and some real, live Pixar animators.
My 6-year-old artist in training is geeked over this news! She wants to know when they decided to be Pixar animators- which I think is a very good question to ask.
Shoot me any of your questions and I’ll do my best to ask them for you.
And the Disneyland lover in me cannot wait for more information about Pixar Fest. We’re getting a whole session from the Theme Parks team?including?Production Manager Krista Sheffler, Creative Director Tasha Sounart, and?Production Manager Heidi Holman.
I can finally answer the question: when can we do this again, whoa ooh ooh ohh! Because Paint the Night Parade is coming back- with a new Incredibles float!
Pixar Fest is happening April 13 to September 3 so there should be plenty of time to make your plans to visit.
Questions fort he Theme Park time? Let me have them!
This trip is going to be epic for a Disney Pixar fan like me and I can’t wait to share it with the Pixar fan in you!
Visiting The Walt Disney Family Museum
And because Disney knows you can’t take Disney loving souls to San Francisco without showing them some serious Walt Disney history, we’re heading to The Walt Disney Family Museum on our last day of the Incredibles 2 event.
That view from The Presidio, y’all!
Swoon!
Thursday, April 5th:?Admission into? The Walt Disney Family Museum.
Since my sister still lives in the Bay Area, I’ve made sure to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum with kids in the past.
But the truth is- I feel like I missed so much since I’ve only been with the kids in tow. Wrangling the littles even in a family-friendly environment takes work!
I love you, kids, but you aren’t the Disney dorks I aspire you to be (just yet, anyway!).

An adult-only day in the museum? Be still my Disney nerd little heart.
Incredibles Inspired Outfits
And of course, I’m working on outfits! I can’t show up looking like a hobo, darling.
And you can bet there will be NO CAPES!
I’m over here scouring Etsy like it’s my job! So many adorable things to choose from- like these Incredibles ears from Etsy seller EverAfterByPatti.
OMG, yall.

I won’t be wearing this for the Incredibles 2 event since I am a professional, but maybe they need to get packed in my suitcase for my Disney World Incredible Summer visit!
I’m thinking something Disneybound-ish for the Pixar interview day, and probably something more in line with Walt Disney & his masterpieces for the day at the museum.
So many to choose from, I know, but I’m sure I’ll find the right movie to represent at the museum.
The Incredibles Sequel We’ve Been Waiting For
The first movie came out in 2004 and the Pixar fans have been (mostly) patient for news of The Incredibles sequel.
That news was confirmed at the 2015?D23 Expo Animation panel. I was there and lost my?mind, as I tend to do over exciting Disney news. But you guys know that about me!
Nothing specific was announced at the event other than a poster, but it was enough to trend on Twitter for hours.
To say the fans are ready for The Incredibles 2 movie is an understatement.
If you happened to miss the first one, you can watch the full Incredibles movie online on Amazon
or buy The Incredibles Blu-ray with bonus features here.
The Incredibles (2004) Synopsis
Bob Parr (Craig T. Nelson) used to be one of the world’s greatest superheroes, known to all as ‘Mr. Incredible’ – saving lives and fighting evil on a daily basis. But now, fifteen years later, Bob and his wife Helen (Holly Hunter) – a former superhero in her own right – have adopted civilian identities and retreated to the suburbs to live normal lives with their three children. Now Bob’s a clock-punching insurance claims adjuster, fighting boredom and a bulging waistline. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment.
The Incredibles 2 Cast and Plot (2018)
The Incredibles 2 cast is EVERYTHING!
Everyone returns to their original roles (except Dash- because kid actors age, their voices change, and Dash hasn’t!).
- Helen Parr/Mrs. Incredible: Holly Hunter
- Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible: Craig T. Nelson
- Frozone: Samuel L. Jackson
- Violet Parr: Sarah Vowell
- Dash Parr: Huck Milner
- Edna Mode: Brad Bird

Guys, I’m so pumped that everyone is back! Samuel L. Jackson, Holly Hunter and Craig T. Nelson are the voices and actors of my early adulthood and made television & movies in the 90s worth watching.
From The Firm and O Brother Where Art Thou??(Hunter) to Coach & Parenthood (Nelson) to Pulp Fiction & the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Nick Fury (Jackson), I’m huge fans of the Incredibles 2 cast!
