WiFi May Be Spotty | #RalphBreaksTheInternet
The biggest thing to happen to the Internet since it was created by Al Gore: Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, opens in theaters nationwide on November 21. I’m heading to LA in partnership with Disney to see what Ralph, Vanellope, and all those Disney Princesses are up to! Here’s what we have planned, and I gotta warn you: it just might break the Internet. Okay, maybe not break it, but *I* just might explode like Pancake Bunny with excitement!
Guys, you know I love me some Internet.
Obsessed some might say. And those people would not be wrong!
As an early adopter to the world wide web, I’ve been a big fan of all the crazy, fun, interesting, and exciting things you can find/buy/watch/learn/read when you enter your wifi password and log in.
Not so much a fan of the ugly side of it, but I feel I’ve been blessed in a positive way with all the Internet offers.
Bless, you, Al Gore.

Ralph Breaks the Internet Event & Red Carpet | #RalphBreaksTheInternetEvent
When I sat in the Animation Panel at 2017 D23 Expo, I have to admit, I wasn’t paying much attention to the Wreck-It Ralph sequel. I wasn’t a huge Ralph fan- in fact, hadn’t even seen the movie.
Gasp. I know.
But it was like Disney spoke to my very soul and said, Patty, GET ON OUR LEVEL.
And when they shared part of this trailer with us? I. Was. Hooked.
That Princess scene about killed me. Dead.
Obviously, I went home and watched the first movie and fell in love with Stink Brain and Princess Vanellope and started counting down to this movie.
On Monday, I?ll enter the Internet with those two crazy kids for the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event and I can’t wait!
Up first is a whole day devoted to learning about the movie.
?Ralph Breaks VR
?Ralph Breaks VR? is a new hyper-reality experience based on the film that?s produced by ILMxLAB in collaboration with the Void.
I?m excited to see exactly how this works- I?ve never experienced VR before. If you’ve done the Void Star Wars experience, pass on your best tips!

?Drawing Workshop
One of my favorite things to do at Disneyland is the Animation Workshop. I can?t draw at all, but I?m basically a Disney animator after these workshops!
I mean, I totally nailed my Edna Mode last time, amirite?
We?re joining an animation session with Disney Animator Mark Henn and I *think* we?re drawing Princesses at the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event. Squee!
?Oh My Disney Dot Com presentation
And my favorite part of this day? We?re sitting down with Pamela Ribon, co-writer of the Oh My Disney scene (and voice actor of Snow White in the movie).
I can?t wait to hear the details of her story behind this scene— and I need to know how they talked Disney into it!
?Pancake artist station and DIY crafts
Crafts? Errr… I have limited skills.
But pancakes? I?m an expert at eating those!
Ralph Breaks the Internet World Premiere and Red Carpet
And finally, we are going to see the movie at the historic El Capitan Theatre.
We’re attending the world premiere of Ralph Breaks the Internet and walking the red carpet. We’re even getting a special invitation to the after party- y’all, we’re going to be so Hollywood!
Please be sure to follow the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook with the #RalphBreaksTheInternetEvent and #RalphBreaksVR hashtags on Monday.
The Rookie | #TheRookie #ABTVEvent
The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion as the oldest rookie in the LAPD. And it’s a lot of action, a lot of heart, and a lot of humor. You can watch it every Tuesday night at 10|9c on ABC; The Rookie is also available streaming and on demand
I started watching this show last week, and by the end of the first episode, I was hooked! Take a look at this trailer and you’ll see why:
This isn’t just another cop show; I’d say its a relationship/rebirth after 40 show that’s couched in the world of police officers. And as a post-40-year-old, I totally relate.
Fillion is awesome- I mean, duh, we all know this! And the entire cast brings depth to interesting characters that just makes me want to know more about these stories.
We’re heading to … well, that part we don’t know just yet! But we’ve been promised some behind the scenes access and if you’ll send a little wish into the universe that we get to meet some of the cast, I’d most appreciate it.
Please be sure to follow (find me at @noguiltlife on all the socials) with the hashtags #TheRookie and #ABCTVEvent.
And if Nathan Fillion does happen to show up? Please send the EMTs ASAP because I just might faint!
Single Parents | #SingleParents #ABCTVEvent
I love a good family comedy, and since my favorite closed shop last year (“The Middle”- THE BEST!) I’ve been hoping for something to come along that I can love.
Welp, it’s here.
Single Parents is fab!
The ensemble cast has great chemistry- if you aren’t watching this one, be sure to catch up! Add it to your list and you can find it On Demand, ABC App, and Hulu.
And then add it to your Wednesday night rotation at 9:30|8:30c on ABC.
This is another one of the “details pending” on our itinerary, but whatever ABC is able to share with us about this show, I’m sure will be incredible. You won’t want to miss it!
If you have any questions for the folks who work on Single Parents (maybe cast? Crew? Showrunners? Not sure just yet!) please tweet them to me using hashtags #SingleParents and #ABCTVEvent.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to ask them your questions on Tuesday.
Um, I love my job. A job that was created with the invention of- wait for it- the Internet.
And it’s trips like this that I get to share all that fun with you- as long as Ralph doesn’t break things too badly.
Pray for strong wifi, folks!
