This is fantastic news for those of us who runDisney and hoped that Universal Orlando would get into the running game.
Universal Orlando has just announced a 5K and a 10K race coming this February.
Running through Diagon Alley? Yes, please!

The race weekend is shaping up and here’s what we know so far.
We do know the dates of the Universal Orlando race weekend: so go ahead and mark those calendars!
February 1-2, 2020 is the date of the inaugural Running Universal Orlando race weekend.
No announcement just yet as far as the theme (other than Epic Characters), but you can bet I’m hoping for a Harry Potter-themed race weekend at some point in the future.

Running Universal Orlando Race Registration Is Now Open
The early registration period is now open for the Epic Character race weekend.
Want to run around Universal Orlando- and not because you’re being chased by the Halloween Horror Nights scare actors? Me too! Though that also sounds fun to do someday.
But if you are thinking more like an official 5K or 10K with bibs, costumes (I mean, you gotta, right?), and an Instagram-worthy medal at the finish then this is the race you’re looking for.
