Seen on My Run

It’s been different from last summer, that’s for sure.

I’ve got humidity back- boo. But I’m also looking at temps like this vs. Arizona hitting 117 today… sooo… all in all, I’m not complaining.

Last week was lovely, despite the 80 humidity!

I’m loving the outside runs I can get in here. There’s greenery everywhere along with lakes, trees, shade, and flowers.

All things that I lacked in Arizona.

Arizona did have the sunrises, however.

VS

What I’ve learned from moving east is that there’s beauty everywhere you look- it just might take on a different vibe is all.

They are both beautiful to me!

But nothing is more beautiful than this during the summer running season.

Because it means AC. And water. And a real potty nearby.

Ahhh, Treadmill, my old friend. It’s so good to see you again!

We got a gym membership, and it’s been worth every penny so far. I can sleep in and if the humidity is creeping, I know I have this ol’ girl to look forward to.

And yes, I am a freak. I like the TM.

Summer is here, and the views I’m getting are pretty sweet so far! What does your summer run look like? Link up with us!

  • The humidity around here can get pretty bad. I don’t have a gym membership or treadmill, but I don’t mind running outside in the summer too much. Ill definitely complain about the heat and humidity but Id rather take summer running over winter running any day!

  • I don’t love my treadmill, but it appears to be fixed — I think it’s time to think about a new one while this one is actually functioning & can be sold!

I lime to have the option, though. For days with snow, with ice, with thunderstorms, the ones that are too hot . . . we get it all!

One of my goals for this month is to run outside at least twice a week. It has not happened every week, so many of my scenes and photos from my run have been the treadmill! I did get in a run with the family near the beach this past weekend and that was pretty 🙂

  • We can get humidity here too, but nope, no how, no way will I run inside in the summer!! I just get up earlier to beat the heat. I slog through so much cold weather in the winter–I love the contrast in the summer.

  • Lesley says:

I broke down and got a gym membership after an April snowstorm. I was tapering and I couldn’t get outside with ice and snow, and I hadn’t planned on a gym membership until the summer. Since I haven’t run yet in June, I’m not happy about wasting it this month, but I had to get runs in when the weather was bad.

I’m not a fan of the treadmill… we recently got a gym membership and I have a feeling it will become my friend part of the time this summer.

  • The treadmill and I are not friends! I try my best to keep slushing my way thru the Florida heat and humidity! The sunrises are beautiful!

  • With the summer here it is nice to get on the treadmill once in a while to avoid the awful heat! Glad you’re liking life on the east coast even though the sunrises may not be as pretty as in AZ!
