White Cherry Spritzer Summer Celebration
It’s time for a Skinnygirl Back to Summer Celebration with a refreshing White Cherry Spritzer cocktail. Join me? Sponsored by Skinnygirl. Originally posted in 2017 but this drink is timeless!
I looked at the calendar, I looked in my email, and I realized… summer is basically over.
Okay, so that’s an exaggeration, but you feel me, right? Once the 4th of July passes, things start to roll quickly towards Back to School.
Apologies to my teacher friends. I know you don’t love this talk, but back to school is rolling around quickly. I’m making sports physical appointments and meet the teacher night is on the planner!
But hopefully, educating my cherubic children (and hundreds like them!) will be worth it for you in the end. God bless the teachers, I’m not even exaggerating when I say you are all at hero level in my household. I couldn’t do what you do.
LOVE YOU- no really, I mean it!
Some of you aren’t feeling me on the back to school excitement. I get it. But here’s my deal with summer.
Summers have turned into a lot of screen time and a lot of mom yelling to be quiet while she tries to work.
Look, if you can’t celebrate your kid’s education, I’m not sure what you can celebrate, amirite?
White Cherry Spritzer
I’m not going to be obnoxious about it, but, yeah, after dinner I’m going to have a cocktail and a toast to the new school year.
The perfect end of summer drink is this white cherry spritzer. It’s flavored with the Skinnygirl White Cherry Water Enhancer to keep it low-calorie and guilt-free.
White Cherry Spritzer Ingredients
- 1 1/2 parts vodka (You can leave this out for a non-alcoholic version!)
- 3 parts club soda
- 1 generous squeeze of?Skinnygirl White Cherry Water Enhancer
- lemons, cherries, and basil for garnish
White Cherry Spritzer Directions
Pour vodka, club soda, and Skinnygirl White Cherry Water Enhancer into a cocktail shaker.
Carefully give a gentle shake or swirl to mix the ingredients. Club soda is carbonated, so don’t do a big shake!
Pour in a tall glass over ice. Top off with a splash of club soda and a squeeze of lemon.
Garnish with cherries, lemon slice, and basil.
Cheers!
Are you looking forward to back to school?

Actually, the school buses are kind of a drag when you don’t have kids. But then again, school doesn’t start here for a long time yet.
Ha- yeah, they are. You get stuck behind one in the neighborhood here and you are in for a long morning!
