In 2014, Taylor Swift released the album 1989.

During the holiday season that followed, she left Christmas-themed emoji comments on fan’s social media posts with no explanation.

Later, these fans received “Swiftmas” packages from Taylor, hand-packaged and personally picked for each recipient.

That made for a very merry Swiftmas indeed!
