What Is Swiftmas?
Your Swiftie can tell you all about it, but here’s the basic rundown.
In 2014, Taylor Swift released the album 1989.
During the holiday season that followed, she left Christmas-themed emoji comments on fan’s social media posts with no explanation.
Later, these fans received “Swiftmas” packages from Taylor, hand-packaged and personally picked for each recipient.
That made for a very merry Swiftmas indeed!
Will we see an official return to Swiftmas in 2023? The Swiftie fans are all hoping- but just in case she doesn’t do anything official, here are our suggestions for doing it on your own.
How Can You Celebrate Swiftmas This Year? Stream 1989 (Taylor’s Version) To Start
On October 27, 2023, Taylor drops her latest re-recording album of her original works.
In case you aren’t up on the Taylor Swiftness of it all, this is her way of reclaiming work that was essentially stolen and sold without her say from her previous manager.
So she’s re-recording each album and her fans are dedicated to only buying and streaming Taylor’s Versions from here on out.
