“Let’s try something new” was the motto this past weekend at Walt Disney World. We went straight from graduation to Animal Kingdom Lodge and Sanaa. New lunch for us at a new resort. And a new margarita as well!
Quick note about Animal Kingdom Lodge: it’s spectacular. Disney does most things right- we all know this. But the ambiance and landscaping and the small touches… wow. Just wow. Yes- that’s my technical writers perspective on the matter.
We settled in and got a quick run down on the menu. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah… let me order one of THESE.
Not only was this one of the best margaritas I’ve had in a long time, it was also one of the cheapest. Normally I expect to spend $12-14 for a margarita at Walt Disney World. Clearly this one was a BARGAIN.
Pretty sure I clapped, bounced up and down in my seat and yelled Yeeehaaawww when our waiter placed this in front of me. It was beautiful. And it tasted as good as it looked. It is rather sweet, and because it’s frozen it’s not a fast drinkin’ margarita. But Mr. Shenanigans and I were both very pleased with our first margarita on property.
