If you’ve been following my social media, you know this news already! Hard to miss since I haven’t shut up about it for weeks. #SorryNotSorry? I’ve been invited to attend the Thor: Ragnarok Premiere and experience a few other awesome events while in LA. The trip includes airfare, hotel and some meals and is hosted by Disney.

And… I’m freaking out just a little over here!?

Here’s a little truth to start your day: Blogging is a job that sometimes pays off in unexpected and very cool ways.

I’m going to go ahead and say attending the?Thor: Ragnarok?premiere falls under this category. This is going to be VERY cool, y’all.

This Marvel Fan Girl’s dream is coming true next week when I join 24 fabulous bloggers on the red carpet in LA.

(Side note: I cannot think of a nicer group of people to share this experience with- all the #blessed over here!)

 

 

Thor: Ragnarok Premiere October 9-11

I got the news a few weeks ago and I’ve had a perma-grin plastered on my face ever since I opened that email.

While you can’t go with me (my Cap suitcase is big, but not *that* big!) you can still be part of this ah-mazing experience.

The plan is to have some close-up access to some great stars, and I know you have questions for them!

We’re talking Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson, & director?Taika Waititi.

Cars 3 Blu-ray

We’re talking Cars 3- vroom!-?at a CARS 3 themed dinner to celebrate the Blu-ray release coming soon.

Where could such a magical dinner take place? AT DISNEYLAND Y’ALL!

We just got word tonight that this meal will be held at my favorite place to eat in Disney California Adventure- Flo’s V8 Cafe! I can taste the chocolate milkshake from here.

 

 

We’re also going to check out Haul-O-Ween, the new Halloween happenings at Disney California Adventure.

And of course, you can’t take a bunch of Marvel fans to DCA and not let us ride Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout!

This is gunna be fuuuuunnnnn– as my pal Mater likes to say.

 

 

In case you missed it this summer, CARS 3 follows the continuing adventures of Lightning McQueen as he finds himself at a crossroads in his racing career.

Along the way we see some old friends and meet a few new ones as well.

I dare you not to fall in love with Cruz Ramirez, the spunky trainer tasked with getting McQueen back on track!

 

 

CARS 3 is available for digital download on October 24 and on Blu-ray November 7.

Vampirina

My 6-year-old,?#OhLucy, told me that this was the coolest part of the whole trip. She might be right!

We just watched the premiere episodes of “Vampirina” together on Disney Junior (started October 1 so check your listings!) and we absolutely love Vee.

 

 

Meet Vee, the adorable young vampire girl who faces the trials of being the new kid in town when her family moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania.

Since Lucy just went through this kind of move herself, she related to what Vee is going through.

Minus the case of the batties, of course!

 

 

While in LA, we’re going to screen a new episode of the Disney Junior animated series.

After the screening, there will be a Q&A with the series’ Executive Producer,?Chris Nee?(“Doc McStuffins”).

NEW: ABC’s “The Mayor”

 

This is a fun new addition to our event.

Last week the premiere of The Mayor left my family in stitches. This show is Funny (with a capital F!)

We’re going to screen a new episode of the show and then sit down and chat with two of the stars of the series.

Bernard David Jones?(?Jermaine Leforge?) and?Marcel Spears?(?T.K. Clifton?) will be joining us for a Q & A session.

I cannot wait for this!

The nerd game is strong on this trip!

Not only do we get Marvel experiences, but we’re also going to have time for STAR WARS as well.

We’re getting a little hands-on time with a new STAR WARS Droid Inventor Kit.

 

This kit allows you to make your own R2D2 at home.

Make my own R2D2? Well, if I must!

Seriously having some “dreams come true” moments happening thanks to this event. I’ve wanted an R2D2 since I watched Return of the Jedi in the 3rd grade. I know you feel me on this!

And he moves, guys. You use the Force to move R2D2.

How fun does that sound?!

I’m looking forward to learning more about Force Drive and how this technology works.

What a time to be alive, amirite?!

 

Thor: Ragnarok

Deep breath…of all that #ThorAir y’all! You know I love me some #ThorAir!

Guys, I’m going to experience my first (!) red carpet event of a Los Angeles Premiere.

And even better? It’s a movie I’ve been obsessing over all year.

THOR: RAGNAROK opens in theaters November 3.

 

 

This poster blows me away every time I see it.

Whoa, right? I mean… just WHOA.

Thor was my gateway superhero: he’s how I found Marvel.

For me, this is BIG! HUGE! Hulk huge!

Not only do we screen the movie and walk the red carpet, but we’re going to attend the press junket as well.

 

 

On Wednesday we will sit down for some intimate interviews with:

• Rachel House?(?Topaz?)
• and (omgeee pinch me!)?Director Taika Waititi?(who also plays ?Korg?).

Afterward, we will attend the main press junket that includes interviews with:
