Throw Back Thursday, aka, Thanks Timehop!
Do you have the Timehop app? ?I resisted downloading this one for a long time, but when I finally started using it I quickly fell in love.
It would be hard for me just to scroll through to find those particular moments or pictures that I shared a year or seven ago. ?Because: oversharer here. ?Especially on my personal page.
That’s where Timehop comes in.
Every morning I get to check out what happened “on this day” in the past. ?It’s been quite the learning experience for me. ?Sometimes I get a laugh, or an awwww, or a great picture of my kids.
But.
Sometimes I’m embarrassed by myself. ?REALLY embarrassed.?
It’s not the awkward selfie or the horrific misspellings I find, but the things I actually said. ?The things I actually typed and let fly out of my virtual mouth. The things I should, as a full grown adult, know better than ever to say.
Ever. Online or not.
So, yeah, that’s always a good day. ?/sarcasm
You live and learn, right? ?You grow, you stop typing and start T.H.I.N.King a bit more, and hopefully you just don’t keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
Nothing points out those flaws more than my Timehop during elections.
Me: ?Grooooaaannnnn. ?Did I REALLY?
Timehop: Oh, apparently YOU DID.?
And no, I’m not sharing those examples today. ?Best to know that I know and that I know I shouldn’t have and let’s leave it at that, mmkay?
I did think it would be fun for a Throw Back Thursday post of sorts to share some memories provided by Timehop.

Man, I love Arizona.
And finally, the birth of my blog.
Apparently it was three years ago-ish that I started writing about my love of runDisney.
Sniff. ?My baby blog is now a toddler!
And here’s a link to that (unedited!) bathroom post if you are dying of curiosity. ?You know you wanna…
Do you love Throwback Thursday on social media? ?Any cringeworthy regrets out there for you?
