Tis the Season For Packing and Cleaning With Shark
This story is nothing new. I know I’m not alone in feeling overwhelmed during the holiday season. You guys feel me, right? On a normal day, we parents are already pretty busy with school and kids and work, but then we add in all the “fun” of parties, shopping, baking, and travel… Oy.
It’s a wonder we all make it to January 1 without nervous breakdowns.
But “some of us” decided that the normal holiday crazy just wasn’t going to cut it this year. Oh, no. “Some of us” decided that we needed to throw in the stress of packing up and moving our household into the whole holiday season.
‘Tis the season to be crazy, fa-la-la-la-la
That “some of us” is me. And man, the next 2 months need to hurry up and be over AND slow down all at the same time. Because I’m going a little bit crazy over here.
What you see right there is the full extent of my Christmas decorating. Due to the decluttering, cleaning, and packing going on in an effort to get the house on the market we decided to forgo the usual three-Christmas-tree decorating spree. (Doesn’t everyone have three trees? Ha!)
I’m not a grinch, but I honestly might lose my ever loving mind if I had to unpack all the decorations just to re-pack them for the move in a span of 2 weeks.
Bah humbug.?
Oh- and I think everyone in this house has had umpteen million doctors appointments this past month. It’s been insane! (We’re all good, we just needed to *stay* good, you know?) Look, people, I’m holding on here by a thread.
So cleaning and decluttering: this is a J-O-B I tell ya.
Six people can accumulate so.much.junk. Junk that does NOT need to go with us to the new home. Decisions to make life easier this year had to be made and some of them were not my finest holiday hour.
I’ve got a purse full of easy gifts that will help me get through the month, and should still make my people happy.
I’m going full Oprah with them.
You get a gift card; You get a gift card! Everyone gets a gift card!?
During all this madness, I am counting my blessings in many ways. Two of them include, of all things, a vacuum and mop. Totally serious, y’all: I have found sanity in two new cleaning products. Thanks to Shark, I’m enjoying cleaning with the
Thanks to Shark, I’m enjoying cleaning with the Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean Technology and Shark Genius Hard Floor Cleaning System. ?They are becoming instrumental in?helping this house get ready for showings.
And yes, you read that correctly: I am ENJOYING cleaning. The right products make all the difference!
Even my husband got excited when this beauty showed up at the front door. He called “FIRST” and got to work.
The Rocket is a lightweight and portable vacuum that comes with so many options. You can go high, you can go low, you can go under things, and you can even go up the stairs with this sucker.
- DuoClean? Technology has the power of 2 distinct brushrolls spinning in unison to pull in large, small and stuck-on particles on floors and carpets – that’s Triple Particle Cleaning
- Lightweight versatility for floor-to-ceiling cleaning
- Powerful LED lights make it so easy to see hidden dirt
It’s everything you ever wanted in a vac that you didn’t know you wanted until you got it!
We’ve all been impressed with the power it provides and the amount of dust, dirt, and hair it’s picking up around here. I don’t want to throw any shade, but it’s become apparent that our previous vacuum was not up to the job.
Because: whoa.
The great thing about both Shark products is that I can use them on all floor surfaces- even the hardwoods I’m coveting in my new home.
And that’s where I’ll get the most use out of the?Shark Genius Hard Floor Cleaning System.
- An evolution in hard floor care, the new system offers a flexible, tailored, all-in-one solution that delivers improved and easier cleaning than before.
- Cleans the dirt you can see and sanitizes* floors when and where you need it. ?
* Sanitization studies were conducted under controlled test conditions. Household conditions and results may vary. With Genius? mop head only when used with steam mop. Not when using Steam Blaster?. See Owner’s Guide for instructions.
This glides easily over my tile floors and?cleans all our sticky kid?messes quickly!
There’s also a one-touch mop head removal which is just like the name says: genius. Throw the pad in the washing machine and say good-bye to dirty mop heads.
