Mom Timeout | Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea
Being a mom in the summer has its challenges. Especially being one who works from home and has four loud kids.
Four, y’all.
I’m all over here thinking it’s time to get them all phones so they can leave my house and hunt Pokemon Go or whatever it is kids do these days.
Ok, not really. I’m not that desperate. But it has been trying this summer.
I know I’ve talked about this before, and we have a plan in place. But after two weeks of travel, hotels, 3000+ miles in the car, and an indulgent trip BY MYSELF to Disneyland (which I don’t feel guilty about at all!), I’m feeling a need to slow it down.
Way down.
Today I took a quick iced tea time out. Tradewinds slow-brewed tea and a small snack helped clear this momma’s head for a few minutes.
The house may be a mess (ok, it totally is), I’m behind on my blog posts, I have clients to book, AND Mount Laundry to climb. There are also about seventybazillion suitcases just waiting to be unpacked.
I knew my constant overpacking would come back to bite me in the booty. Today is that day.
But first, let me drink my tea, yo! I’m going to find these #MomentsToSavor?of relative quiet as my kids are playing nicely.
And since I can’t see the laundry from this perch, I’ll just pretend it’s not there, mmkay?
Tradewinds Iced Tea is available nationwide, and I’m happy to report it’s easy to pick up at my local Fry’s. Which, coincidently, has become my destination to escape to when my kids are acting particularly like kids.
Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea is available in 18.5 oz bottles or gallon sizes, and it comes in a variety of flavors like Raspberry, Hint of Lemon, Green Tea with Honey, Sweet Tea and Unsweet Tea.
This huge glass of unsweetened tea will be savored to the last drop.

Oooh, raspberry. And you know this Southern girl needs her sweet tea. I might have to pick up a few bottles for my next trip to relatives up north!
You know it girl!
I’m not an iced tea girl, but at least with the dogs they don’t need to be entertained every single minute. Not even Bandit.
It’s truly ironic that he’s completely content with me in the office, so I can blog, but most of the time all I want to do is go and lay down!
And laundry? Because we’re locking Giz in the laundry room, I’m having to do it at night, and I’m not a night person. And then I have to run the dishwasher during the day, which normally I do at night, because Bandit sleeps out in his crate in the living room.
It’s a world gone mad, I tell ya! So good luck with those 4 kids. When does school start? 😉
2 weeks! I’m counting down- oh you know it! ha!
