Got Some of My Confidence Back | #TriedImpressa
It’s been a few months since I first #TriedImpressa and it’s time for a little update.
I remember being a little self-conscious when I’d run or dance or do anything physical because I was afraid of leaking a little.
That’s right- I’d pee on myself just a little if I weren’t careful! Hey- nothing to be ashamed about. I birthed a bunch of babies- I know my bladder took a whooping from those kiddos.
Aren’t they cute, though?
I love being active; I hate peeing on myself. I know I’m not alone here.
So when I lose a little confidence, I think it’s a good thing to explore options to getting it back.
I talked to my doctor first to make sure there wasn’t anything severely medical that we should address, in case you are wondering. Always a good thing to check in with the real MDs when you have concerns about your body.
In the end, I was resigned to using the pads, even though I was not thrilled with the idea. Wearing one while exercising is no bueno in my book.
Then I learned about Impressa.
I took that first step down “that aisle” at Walmart to give them a try.
It was much less embarrassing that you’d think; I wasn’t alone over there but at the same time, we weren’t all making chit chat either! Ha.
I just picked out what I needed, put it in the cart, and off to finish my other shopping.
Super easy and non-mortifying, y’all.
I picked up my sizing kit, took it home, figured out what worked for me… and I’ve never been happier about trying something new.
It’s now part of my everyday workouts prep.
My trainer had me doing jump lunges and squats the other day- and I didn’t hesitate. No modifications for this gal: I’m jumping around just like I did pre-babies.
I even went hiking recently- something I haven’t done in a very long time due to worries about leakage.
Check out that smile- no confidence issues here!
It’s been fabulous.
Here’s a quick video about my experience and I hope it encourages you to get out to Walmart to try it out.
If light bladder leakage is a problem for you, Impressa may be able to help.
You can buy an Impressa sizing kit at Walmart and check it out yourself. ?There are three sizes in each box. ?Start with the smaller size (1) and see if you need to go larger. ?Each woman has unique anatomy, and your jean size does not determine your Impressa size.
So tell me: what’s your mountain? What would you love to do if you had some confidence back?

I need to try this! The jumps, it’s the jumps in exercise classes that get me.
It might help! I does for me- I avoided jumping jacks for years!
