It’s a couple of months into the new year and news flash: I’m still working on the weight loss.

I think the last time I updated I’d lost a whopping 14 pounds in 6 months.

I’m here to report: I’ve lost 16 pounds in 8 months.

Yeah, not so impressive. ?It’s slow, like my running (hey-o!), but at least?I’m no longer gaining weight. ?Darn you, marathon training!

The food, once again, is tasty. I’ve been pleasantly surprised that the prepacked portions are keeping me satisfied.

I know it sounds weird, but I was most intrigued by the packet of cereal I had one morning. Do you realize how easy it is to over-estimate a proper serving size of cereal? ?I do it all the time!

This pre-portioned meal was an eye-opener (as well as taste bud pleaser!).
