We’re talking about music today on Tuesdays on the Run.
Got a Jam that you have set to start you off? Or maybe one that is primed to play 3 minutes from the finish of your goal race?
How do you use music to push you to the finish line of a training run or race?
Which Justin is Your Jam?
When I step out the door and press start on my Garmin, the first song I hear these days is from Justin.
It may be Bieber (yes, basic white girl admitting she’s a Belieber over here).
Or on my better days, it’s Timberlake.
But either way, a Justin provides me with my go-to jam to get me out the door.
Once I’m going, that’s all I need!
A little Justin & a lot of effort gives me a clear head. My feet love the sound of the music. Which is weird, because I’m not a music person (shocker, right? I mean… I love Justin Bieber… so… ). But the only way I can run these days are with the jams.
The first mile is by far the hardest for me. Some days it’s just impossible to find my groove.
I know you feel me on this one.
Finding the right Justin to get me going is important and sets the tone for the run.
Here are my two front runners for favorite running song this summer.
JT is winning in the rotation. I mean, how can you NOT love this song? It’s the perfect summer running tune.
But this spring JB was all over my iPod!
