The bags are packed (again), and I’m on the go!
Today starts a new adventure for me: I’m at the airport waiting to take off on a hosted stay to Michigan. I’ve never been, and I’m excited to experience the summer up north.
I’ve always lived in the south, and our summers are, well, brutal. Checking out the weather for this trip has me showing all the heart eyes emojis. We might get a little wet, but to quote my friend Julia: we won’t melt, Sugar!
What’s on tap for the weekend? A lot of great stuff!
We’ve got plans to visit a few beach cities on the Sunrise Coast. The sandy beaches are calling me!
There’s something for everyone I’m told: from beach chilling to shopping to hiking and kayaking.
I love kayaking on the lakes here at home- can’t wait to try it on Lake Huron!
